Website Design

It's time to level up

Picture this: a stunning and user-friendly website that showcases your small business and its values.

Sounds good? We think so too!

You see, your website is like a first date – you need to make a good impression. You don’t want it to be the equivalent of a party where no one’s dancing or talking to each other.

Boring websites SUCK

Eggbert the dog hates boring websites as much as he hates cheap dog food and vacuum cleaners.

Websites suck for a variety of reasons, low-quality images, too much text, that crazy comic sans font…yadda yadda the list goes on.

You want a website that’s fresh, modern, and visually appealing right? We can do that.

Six steps to a gorgeous website

Our process has been fine-tuned to make sure that every website is put together with nothing but love, care, attention…and coffee, mountains of coffee.

Let's get started!
  1. Site Layout & UX

We'll work with you to design a logical map of your website and make sure that the user-experience (UX) is perfect!

  2. UI Design

We'll create a design (UI) that fits in with your brand and communicates your personality and values to the customer.

  3. Copywriting

In order for your website to be successful, the text needs to be 100% on point. It's the most important part of any website.

  4. Responsive

It's never been more important to make sure that your website looks great on all kinds of devices.

  5. Speed

We always use best practices to make sure your website appears fast at the other end. Slow websites suck!

  6. SEO

Once finished, your website will be connected up to Google to make sure that you can be found and shared effectively!

No themes here!

We did some searching online and discovered that most web design companies we found used a pre-made template they bought online for their own website!

What’s the bet they’ll do the same to you?

All our websites are handmade from scratch. They’re built with love and attention to detail.

Proper support

Once your website is finished, we’ll push it out onto the internet, move on to our next project and forget we ever met.

Only joking!  All projects include a comprehensive support and maintenance package with as many email addresses as you need and website backups so you’re not left high and dry if you need our help.

We call it proper support (or pukka as they say darn sarf).

I need a website!

Frequently asked questions

Got questions?  Need answers?  Here are the most common ones we get asked.

If you have a question of your own, hit the button below and we’ll get back to you.

Ask a Question
  • How long will it take to build my new website?

If you have all the headings, content, images and videos ready to go then one-page designs can take as little as a week to complete. Bigger projects can take several weeks and more complicated designs or e-commerce sites can take a few months.

  • How much will a new website cost?

As with any kind of service, there are many factors that can affect the price of a website project so the best place to start is by filling in our contact form to start a conversation!

  • Can we pay monthly?

Sure thing! We work closely with many small businesses and understand that it’s not always possible to pay out a lot of money on a website project so we have a number of monthly options available. Expect to pay at least 25% more but the biggest benefit for you is that you get to spread the cost over a year.

  • What's your payment schedule?

All projects (with the exception of the monthly options) are split into two payments.

50% is taken when we start the work and the remainder is due 30 days later or whenever the website is ready to go live, whichever comes soonest.

We do this because previously some websites have taken months or even years to complete due to the customer taking their time in getting content and images to us. We want to avoid that problem. After 20-25 days, we want to be well on our way to finishing your brand-new website!

  • Do you include a maintenance agreement?

    Absolutely.

We don’t want you to be worried about security and backups so with every new project we include a fully-comprehensive maintenance package that includes everything you need to keep your website online and up to date.

We’ll also include updates to existing pages and preferential pricing on new pages if required.

  • What will you need from me?

Each design project is unique so this is something we’ll discuss before we start working together but here are a few things for you to think about.

    • Your original logo artwork
    • Images of you and your team
    • Images of your workplace, services you offer as well as any products you sell
    • Content for the website e.g. text, PDFs etc
    • Staff profiles
    • Any videos you would like on the website
    • Login details for your existing website, domain registrar and web host
    • We’ll also need login details for your existing website (if you have any), domain registrar and web host.

  • What if I don't like my new website?

The chances of that happening are slim however we understand that you are trusting us to come up with a design that you love which is why every new project starts with a detailed form that we ask you to fill in.

On the form, you’ll tell us what you like and don’t like about your current website. You’ll also tell us about your ideal customer, what the primary goal of your new website is, who your competitors are, links to websites you’ve seen that you like, websites you don’t like and a whole lot more! Once we have this information, we’ll use it to create a stunning website for you and your business!

  • How do we communicate during the website build?

Once we get started, most of the communication will take place over email. This makes the process a lot easier as we can refer back to our discussions at any time.

It’s also useful if you use cloud storage for files and images such as Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.

  • I've seen a website I like, can you copy it?

We could, but we’d prefer to use it as inspiration and make it better.

There’s no harm in taking design elements you like from different websites and adding them to your own unique design.

  • Can we edit the text and images ourselves?

Sure, we can make that happen. At the point of handover, we’ll even create some short training videos to show you how to do it.
